Will the NoseBudd become solid when fully frozen?

No.  The gel inside the NoseBudd chambers is designed to not become solid when fully frozen. (Down to -18F)

Why do I have to apply pressure with the device?

The NoseBudd works by combining the cold of the gel-pack in conjunction with moderate pinching pressure. 
Together, these assist in stopping nose bleeds more quickly than conventional methods.

What is the lifetime use for the NoseBudd device?

The NoseBudd device is designed to be reusable.

Does NoseBudd have to be fully frozen to work?

We recomment that your NoseBudd gel-pack needs to be fully frozen in order to properly work. 
The product should be placed in a freezer for a

minimum of 1 hour before use.  Nosebudd is designed for long term freezer storage to be ready when needed.

Is NoseBudd dishwasher safe?

No.  The device should be washed after use in mild dishwater soap.  NoseBudd is not made of
materials that will withstand the dishwasher cycle. Mild antiseptic and disinfectent solutions may also be used under proper supervision.

What should I do if the product leaks?

The gel inside a NoseBudd product is non-toxic and is not a skin irritant.  Like any foreign substance, should the gel come into contact with an open wound or the eyes, the individual should wash the wound out or flush the eyes with water for 15 minutes minimum.

What is your Refund and Return Policy?

We want all our customers to be satisfied with our Nosebudd product. In the event you are unhappy with our product, you may return the product within 30 days and we will issue a full refund on the product portion of your order. (Excludes shipping)

In the event that your order should arrive damaged, please contact our office so we may arrange a replacement to be sent. We may request return of damaged product or request digital photographs to communicate damage with our shipping providers.

How can I transport NoseBudd devices if I do not have to use them immediately?

Like most cold products, a portable thermos or any similar insulated carrying device such as a cooler should keep the NoseBudd sufficiently frozen for proper use.  The NoseBudd product should ideally be surrounded by ice in order to maximize its ability to work.  Athletic teams may choose to keep the product in the same cooler as they do cold beverages or larger ice-packs.
